Daniel started his career as a trader in London’s finance industry where he worked for five years. In 2014, he left the world of financial markets to set up Soupe du Jour, a healthy soup takeaway restaurant in the heart of Soho. During that time he realised that there is a lot of transparency when it comes to ingredients, with organic and healthy eating on the rise, but that there is absolutely no transparency around the way that food is processed.

So he made it his ambition to bring fresher, less processed food to hungry Londoners and then to the supermarket shelves. To really make an impact and improve food where it matters most, he co-founded Mia & Ben in early 2017. Since then he has been working on creating fresher food for babies with the help of HPP technology and an in-house research team.

Daniel holds a three Masters Degree from ESCP Europe in Finance and Management.
